The accelerator facility at KVI-CART is equipped with three ion sources i.e. an home build, AECR-U based type of an ion source, a Supernanogan manufactured by Pantechnik and a CUSP source. The three sources serve as injectors for the K600 superconducting cyclotron AGOR. The combination of these source and cyclotron creates the opportunity to produce proton beams up to 190 MeV and heavy ions up 90 MeV/n.
