ERIBS annual meeting: 11-12th October, 2023, Jyväskylä, Finland

 Program:

Wednesday morning sessions: In these presentations, we suggest you to follow the original plan for task1 and task 2. First present the objective and then reflect/compare your progress with the original plan. After the presentation we will have a common discussion about the subtask, about the possible revisions, if needed, to the original plan.

Wednesday, 11th October:

9:00-9:15        EURO-LABS-ERIBS general information (Hannu)

9:15-9:45        Subtask 2.1 (OES spectroscopy)

  • Feasibility study for OES (Fabio)

  • OES monitoring development (Fabio)

  • Discussion about the 2.1. plan: is there need for revisions, redistribution of resources, etc. to meet the objectives of the subtask?

9:45-10:15      Subtask 2.1 (Beam current transformer)

  • Beam current transformer (Fabio)

  • Discussion about the 2.1. plan: is there need for revisions, redistribution of resources, etc. to meet the objectives of the subtask?

10:15-10:45    Coffee break

 10:45-11:45    Subtask 2.2 (X-ray and RF emission)

  • Instability monitoring: RF and X-ray probes (Richard)

  • Instability monitoring and feedback (Richard)

  • Instability monitoring: RF probe inside plasma chamber (Angelo)

  • Discussion about the 2.2. plan: is there need for revisions, redistribution of resources, etc. to meet the objectives of the subtask?

  • Are we approaching the reporting phase (best monitoring method vs how other partners may adopt this method)?

11:45-12:30    Subtask 2.3 (Algorithm development)

  • Feasibility study, feedback loop (Rob)

  • Commissioning (Rob)

  • Discussion about the 2.3. plan: is there need for revisions, redistribution of resources, etc. to meet the objectives of the subtask?

12:30-13:30    Lunch (Ylistö restaurant)

13:30-14:15    Subtask 2 (technical realisation of intensity monitoring)

  • Should we prepare more solid plan for the beam intensity monitoring work? This should include the feasibility study and the final realisation. This seems to be very important part of task 2.

14:15-15:00    Completion of updated plan for Task2

15:00-15:30    Coffee break

  • Know-how transfer: GANIL oven  modified JYFL version (Hannu/ Mickaël)

  • Discussion about the 1.1 plan: is there need for revisions, redistribution of resources, etc. to meet the objectives of the subtask?

15:30-16:00    Subtask 1.2 (Sputtering)

  • Test of different Ta target geometries (Alessio/Sebastiano)

  • ON and OFF-axis sputtering (Alessio/Sebastiano)

  • Discussion about the 1.2. plan: is there need for revisions, redistribution of resources, etc. to meet the objective of the subtask?

16:00-16:30    Subtask 1.3 (MIVOC)

  • MIVOC at LNL (Alessio/Benoit)

  • Tests of MIVOC compounds (Benoit)

  • Discussion about the 1.3. plan: is there need for revisions, redistribution of resources, etc. to meet the objective of the subtask?

  • Training of new chemist and synthesis of new compounds (Benoit)

  • Metals from oxides (Benoit)

  • Metals from carbonates (Benoit)

  • Discussion about the 1.4. plan: is there need for revisions, redistribution of resources, etc. to meet the objective of the subtask?
