Microwave power: 2000 W + 500 W from 18 GHz + 14 GHz klystrons. Fast tuning on Ar12+ at 19 kV. Current limit was set to 6 mA. This limit was met and HV automatically shut OFF causing strong spark (Intensity gradually increased when Ar feed was increased. At the total current of around 6 mA a strong spark appeared which destroyed at least puller HV power supply). Intensity gradually increased when Ar feed was increased. I didn't have time to measure Ar13+ but spectrum show indicates that it is about 330 µA or slightly more.
