Palladium at JYFL

Method: JYFL miniature oven (operated at >1200 degrees C, exact temperature is uncertain)

Materials: Strip of metallic Pd foil (0.05 mm thickness) in a carbon (C) crucible.

Mixing gas: Helium

Microwave power: 360 W

Extraction voltage: 9.06 kV

Material consumption: 0.18 mg/h (average over 24 hours)

This was a quick ¹⁰⁶Pd¹⁸⁺ beam test using natural Pd sample. As a consequence, the results presented here are very limited.
