First results with HIISI

Mixing gas: Oxygen

Microwave power: 1000 W + 430 W from 18 GHz + 14 GHz klystrons 

Acceleration voltage: 15 kV/3.8 mA (HIISI extraction system). Plasma electrode aperture 8 mm in diameter.

Material consumption: N/A

Note: Tuning for Ar12+ ion beam. In this run the microwave power from 18 GHz was limited to 1 kW. HV was limited to 15 kV/4 mA. Intensity didn't indicate any saturation as a function of 18 GHz microwave power.
